TYCANFIXIT is a one-person home repair and computer service in Lakewood, California, run by Tyler. This page explains, in plain language, what information I collect and what I do with it.
What I collect
- Quote requests: the name, email, service type, and job description you enter in the form on this site.
- Calls and texts: your phone number and anything you tell me when you call, text, or leave a voicemail.
- If you hire me: your address and the details I need to do the job, such as which computer or what repair.
How I use it
I use your information to reply to you, give you a quote, schedule an appointment, do the work, and keep records of jobs and payments. I don’t sell your information, and I don’t share it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Quote form messages are passed through a form service and delivered to my email inbox.
- Calls and texts go through Google Voice.
- This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers when the page loads. That can share your IP address with Google.
This site doesn’t use advertising trackers or analytics. If that changes, I’ll update this page.
Your computer and files
If I work on your computer, I’ll ask before backing up your files and I only open what I need to do the job. Any backup I make is deleted once the job is finished and you’ve confirmed your files are safe, unless you ask me to keep it.
How long I keep information
I keep quote requests and job records as long as I need them to follow up, handle any questions about the work, and meet tax and business record requirements. You can ask me to delete a quote request or message you sent that isn’t tied to a job.
Your choices
You can ask what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. California residents have additional privacy rights under state law, and I’ll honor those requests too. To make a request, use the quote form or call or text (323) 546-4658.
Children
This site is for adults arranging home or computer services and isn’t directed at children.
Changes
If I change this page, I’ll update the date at the top.
